Long time between “TWEETS”!

But we have not been idle….

Using Twitter in the classroom is a huge topic – there is so much information about the ways to use Twitter in education that it is actually mind blowing..

So what have we been doing….

The Gordon now has Online PD for staff covering many topics that were previously delivered face to face. Staff can now access training in many things “e” 24/7.

These little bytes of “e” offers training in Animoto , ARED 2.1 , Copyright, Digital Story Telling , Diigo, Flip Cameras, Image Chef , Blogging , Discussion Boards, Online journals , ispring, Jing, MicroSoft Office, PowerPoint Narrations , SmartBoards,Tagxedo , Twitter , OneNote, Voice Tools, Gordon Online , Wordle, YouTube, Yuu and has a section dealing with Inspirations and ideas

All staff can access the online site and drop in as many times as they like… so far lots of positive feedback which is a good thing.

  1. looking forward to seeing what impact this has. How do staff find out about it?

  2. Staff are enrolled per Enterprise - to make the tracking a bit more manageable - and they have been made aware via newsletters, email and word of mouth. The managers are encouraged to make staff aware too and HR inform new staff members at induction time.
